Pagani Utopia range has been expanded – a cabriolet Roadster has joined the coupe. Only 130 of such supercars will be released with a price of 3.1 million euros. The car will be shown to the public in August at a retro show in California. This was reported by Focus.

The new Pagani Utopia Roadster externally replicates the coupe. The supercar is designed in the distinctive Pagani style with a forward-shifted cabin, round optics, and four exhaust system ‘nozzles’. The doors open upwards.

The car is based on a carbon monocoque, and some parts are made of titanium. The Pagani Utopia Roadster weighs only 1280 kg. The car also features ‘smart’ Pirelli tires with sensors that provide information about tire condition and allow for adjustments of electronic systems.

The Pagani Utopia Roadster interior in a steampunk style impresses with attention to details. For example, the steering wheel is carved from a single piece of metal for 28 hours, and the gearbox lever is exposed. The interior is adorned with leather, aluminum, and carbon.
Like the coupe, the new Pagani Utopia Roadster is equipped with a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine from Mercedes-AMG. It produces 864 hp and 1100 N∙m.

Acceleration to 100 km/h takes approximately 3 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 350 km/h. A 7-speed manual or automated transmission can be chosen.
