A new Pagani Utopia has been presented in Milan. It is only the third model in the history of the Italian brand and will become the successor to the Pagani Huayra.

The Pagani Utopia supercar resembles its predecessor both in silhouette and design details such as the four exhaust pipes. At the same time, new details appeared – transparent sections in the roof and McLaren-style doors. Carbon and titanium are used in the construction, so the car’s weight is only 1280 kg.

In the interior, as before, retro design with polished aluminum and an open gear lever gate prevails. The decoration uses the most expensive materials.

Like its predecessor, the new Pagani Utopia is equipped with a 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo from Mercedes-AMG. Its power has increased to 864 hp, and torque to 1100 Nm. So the supercar is definitely faster than the Huayra, which can reach 370 km/h.

The car is offered with a 7-speed manual or robotic gearbox. It is equipped with adaptive shock absorbers and Brembo ceramic brakes.

Only 99 Pagani Utopia coupes will be produced, costing about $2 million. A convertible is expected to appear later.
