A new Lynk & Co 03 was captured during testing in China. This model was created at Geely with active participation of Volvo specialists and is planned to be sold in both China and Europe.
The Chinese sedan Lynk & Co 03 is built on the modular CMA platform, which is also used by the crossover Volvo XC40 (as well as other Lynk & Co models). The C-class car reaches 4639 mm in length, 1840 mm in width, and 1460 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2730 mm.
The design is kept in the spirit of Lynk & Co crossovers. The sedan has a narrow grille and high-mounted LED running lights. The new Lynk & Co 03 in the basic version will be equipped with a virtual dashboard and Wi-Fi, with options including powered seats and an automatic braking system.
At first, the Chinese sedan will be equipped with 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbo engines from Volvo with 156 and 179 hp. Later, a 256-hp plug-in hybrid will also appear, capable of traveling about 50 km on electric power.
