As a result of the attack, the car museum in the Kyiv region suffered serious damage. This was reported by the acting head of COVA Mykola Kalashnik. According to him, the debris from the downed drone damaged the car museum building. The State Emergency Service staff extinguished the fire on an area of 600 sq. m. As a result of the fire and falling debris, no one was injured, but 9 vintage cars were completely destroyed, and 27 more were damaged. Among the burnt cars was the only ZIL-410441 cabriolet in Ukraine. In addition, among the destroyed and damaged cars, one can notice rare Ford V8 and Audi from the 30s, Soviet luxury cars GAZ-12 ZIM and GAZ-13 Chaika, as well as Volga GAZ-21, Moskvich-400 cabriolet, and several Zaporozhets. The Russian attack targeted the car exhibition in the national park Mezhyhirya, which had been operating since 2014 and exhibited several dozen rare cars and motorcycles from Viktor Yanukovych’s collection.
