by In Kyiv, the latest Renault Arkana has been spotted. The stylish and affordable Renault coupe-crossover will soon go on sale in Ukraine, and TopGir has obtained its photos.
And the main thing – there is an assumption that this may be one of the first or even the first Renault crossover assembled in Ukraine! After all, as TopGir wrote, it became known yesterday that cars of Groupe Renault will be produced at ZAZ.
Design of Renault Arkana
The new Renault Arkana is built on the B0 platform, which makes it a close relative of the Duster. The coupe-crossover is 4545 mm long and 1820 mm wide with a wheelbase of 2721 mm.
The car features expressive design with a sloping roof and smooth lines. Renault Arkana in Ukraine was captured in the top variant with 17-inch wheels and LED daytime running lights.

In the interior, many details are familiar from Renault Duster.
More expensive versions of Renault Arkana have multimedia with an 8.0-inch touchscreen. The trunk capacity is 409 liters.
Among the available options are steering, front and rear seats heating, climate control, cruise control with speed limiter, surround view cameras, Bose audio system, and blind spot monitoring system.
Engines of Renault Arkana
The Renault coupe-crossover is offered with 1.6L petrol engines (114 hp) and 1.33L turbo (150 hp). In the photos, it’s the more powerful version: it comes with a CVT and all-wheel drive. By the way, the Renault Arkana ground clearance is decent – 205 mm.

The price of the stylish Renault crossover in Ukraine is not yet known. Nor is there any data on when the Ukrainian-produced Renault Arkana will go on sale.
However, to be fair, the cost of this model in Russia starts at 1,124,000 rubles (just under 420 thousand hryvnias). Why mention Russia here? In Russia, they claim that “Renault Arkana became the first model of the French company developed specifically for Russia”.
But that’s not entirely true or not true at all. Yes, Arkana is produced there (since last year), but that doesn’t mean the model is Russian and only for Russia. Technical consulting services, development, and production preparation – all French.
Its production was initially planned not only in Russia but also in other countries, including South Korea. Now, Ukraine is also on this list. If we set aside political moments, a reasonable and rhetorical question arises: what is better, for ZAZ to stand inactive or to produce Renault, including the new affordable crossover? If it ends up costing similar to the popular Duster, then the French brand has every chance to become car brand No.1 in Ukraine once and for all (or at least for a long time). After all, the youth is unlikely to be attracted by the Duster, whereas the Arkana coupe-crossover looks very stylish and elegant.
