Although it was previously said that no one but Maybach would receive this engine. The weight of the armored car has increased to 4.2 tons, so the top speed has been reduced from 250 to 190 km/h.
The increase in weight is provided by steel and composite armor plates, as well as bulletproof glass 10 cm thick. The tires can travel 30 km with a puncture. The car itself can withstand being shot with 7.62 mm caliber bullets from an assault rifle or sniper rifle, as well as detonation of a hand grenade (standard VPAM VR10).
Although it looks like a regular Mercedes S-Class W223 from the outside, only the details reveal the armored version. Even inside, no comfort has been sacrificed – everything is top-notch.
