The Most Incredible Porsche 911 Presented Specifically for Ukrainian Roads

The legendary tuning studio Gemballa is returning to business. Moreover, the Germans decided to make a stunning comeback with the supercar Marsien. The creation was led by Mark Philipp, the son of the late Uwe Gemballa, and the car was named after the ‘Martian’ dunes of the Al Fayah desert in the UAE, where it was tested.

Gemballa Marsien is a kind of tribute to the rally Porsche 959, which won the Paris-Dakar marathon in 1986. It is based on the modern coupe Porsche 911 Turbo S and modified to resemble the 959 – with widened fenders and a characteristic rear wing added.

The masters from the equally famous RUF company worked on the engine. The output of the 3.8-liter turbocharged six-cylinder was increased to 740 hp, but it can be boosted to 830 hp if desired. Even in the base version, it accelerates to one hundred km/h in 2.6 seconds, with a top speed of 330 km/h.

The Porsche 911 Turbo already has all-wheel drive, but for off-road, the ground clearance was further increased (it is adjustable and can reach 250 mm), underbody protection was added, and off-road tires were installed.

Driving modes for different types of road surfaces have also been introduced. Additionally, the Gemballa Marsien received an entirely new suspension from KW Automotive and transmission components from the Porsche Cayenne.

Only 40 Gemballa Marsien will be produced. The extreme tuning of the Porsche 911 Turbo is priced at $585,000, which does not include the cost of the donor car (approximately $210,000). In total, it amounts to nearly $800,000. If desired by the client, a purely rally version of the Marsien can also be prepared.
