Broken patrol cars are going for parts for wrecked cars from the USA? (photo)

An interesting post appeared on Facebook, which we could not ignore. It is about a photo of a wreck from America, whose front right door bears the symbols of the Ukrainian patrol police.

As the author of the post, Alexey Pavlovsky, writes, a person ordered used doors for his Mitsubishi Outlander, brought from the USA. When the damaged body parts were replaced, he went to the service station to see the progress of the work and saw which door the service station staff installed. The author of the publication wonders (we quote): how come?

Is it written off or sold? Is the money probably going to bonuses for conscientious employees? It should be noted that there are many stories online about patrol officers sometimes repairing cars damaged in accidents at their own expense (and the police on average crashes 2 cars a day). Is it really so – a rhetorical question, since it’s hard to imagine that service cars drive without insurance. Our version: after an accident, the patrol car was repaired under insurance (or at the state’s expense – it’s not important), and the damaged parts were put up for sale by the insurance company.

But this is just our assumption. There is also another option – it is just photoshop.
