A rare Ferrari F40 burned to ashes right in the middle of the road (video)

The Ferrari F40 is a true icon of the late ’80s. In those days, it impressed with its specifications and was considered one of the fastest cars on the planet. It’s enough to know that with a rather modest engine volume (2.9-liter V8), the F40 develops 478 hp (577 Nm) and accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds! The maximum speed is 327 km/h.

The circulation of Ferrari F40 – 1315 cars, so it’s not surprising that even in Monaco, where supercars are more common than dirt, seeing such a supercar on the road is a big fortune. And seeing it burn to ashes is a great sorrow…

What can we say about the owner of the rarity, who turned out to be practically powerless and tried by all possible and impossible means to extinguish the flame.

But unsuccessfully. This means that in the video you can see how 1 million dollars burns. That’s exactly how much (sometimes 1.5 million!) the Ferrari F40 costs today, whereas its price was 400 thousand dollars during its production years.

P.S. The cause of the fire is unknown.
