And despite the common belief that the most popular used electric car is the Nissan Leaf, in reality, the picture is somewhat different. To put it another way – Bolt to you!
This is evidenced by the sales statistics of used electric vehicles for the past year. In 2020, the first place in popularity was taken by… Chevrolet Bolt! And it’s not necessary to be a fortune teller to explain the sudden increased demand for it – it most likely refers to ‘damaged’ cars from the USA. Ukrainians bought a total of 133 Bolts.
In second place is the previously mentioned Nissan Leaf (107 units). Completing the top three bestsellers is the Tesla Model 3 (32 units). As discovered by TopGir, this is what the TOP-20 most popular electric vehicles in Ukraine (on the secondary market) look like according to data for 2020:
