The British car manufacturer AC has introduced the new GT SuperSport – a limited series of only 25 units, which will be available exclusively on the US market. The price starts from $550,000 excluding taxes, and the first customer deliveries are planned for 2027.
The car will offer power tuning up to 1025 hp thanks to an upgraded V8 engine. The design combines classic Cobra features with modern aerodynamic elements, including a large fixed rear wing and a diffuser.
“The AC GT SuperSport will become a true icon of automotive engineering. Despite the radical changes in design, the car preserves its heritage,” stated AC Cars CEO David Conza.
Technical Features
Previous renderings show that the model has received an enlarged radiator grille, characteristic side sills, and other sporty elements. Although the large rear wing somewhat breaks away from the classic Cobra image, it significantly improves stability at high speeds.
This project will be the first for AC Cars after a long break in the production of modern sports cars. Given the limited quantity and exclusivity, the GT SuperSport is likely to quickly find its buyers among American collectors, despite the significant price. Particular interest is sparked by the hybrid transmission, which combines a powerful internal combustion engine with an electric component.
