The unique Rolls-Royce Boat Tail convertible has been presented. The car was created as a one-off model and it is the first in a lineup of exclusive models from Rolls-Royce Coachbuilding, created to individual orders.

The new Rolls-Royce Boat Tail is a kind of successor to the Sweptail coupe, which costs $12.8 million. It has been valued at $28 million, making it the most expensive car of modern times!

The enormous 5.8-meter-long convertible is reminiscent of a land yacht (hence the name Boat Tail – the stern of a boat). The rear of the Rolls-Royce is tapered, and the trunk lid mimics a wooden deck.

More precisely, the trunk has two lids. Inside hide a set of dishes and a champagne refrigerator. There is even a special sun umbrella. The salon is trimmed with wood and exclusive blue leather.
The convertible is based on the Rolls-Royce Phantom. The Boat Tail is powered by a 6.75-liter turbocharged V12 with 571 hp and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Naturally, air suspension is also provided.
