Marauders in Russia are already attempting to legalize cars stolen in Ukraine. Moreover, they are not ashamed to openly write about it on social networks.
On April 16, in the group “Main Road. Tver and Region” on the social network Vkontakte, one of the users asked the audience how to process documents for a car brought from Ukraine. The author of the question supported their inquiry with a photo of a BMW X5. The car’s body was adorned with a characteristic letter of the Latin alphabet — an unspoken symbol of support for the Russian army that invaded Ukraine. The post was published by someone named Yuri Zverev.

“A question to subscribers and knowledgeable people. My brother-in-law — a military man — recently brought me such a ‘trophy’ beauty. You know where from. Naturally, without Ukrainian plates and documents — so the question of registering the car in Russia has arisen,” wrote the author of the question, who stated that it would be better if the vehicle had been registered in Belarus, where it was brought from.

A debate flared up in the comments. “They upload the looted goods without even being embarrassed, what a shame! — wrote the author of the comment. — So what does our army do in the end, destroy fascism or enrich itself illegally, make up your mind…”
“Maybe this will make you start guessing what’s really happening,” another user replied.
