Russian Media Called Ukrainian LuAZ a Jewish Armored Vehicle

The news about the possible resumption of LuAZ off-road vehicle production did not go unnoticed by Russian media. Many of them wrote about it, albeit calling the Lutsk car a “Jewish armored vehicle.”

It must be said that LuAZ has many nicknames, but the most famous is Volynyanka. However, in Russia, it seems to have become fashionable to mention Jews even in automotive topics. After all, recently Lavrov stated that Adolf Hitler had “Jewish blood,” and most ardent anti-Semites are, as a rule, Jewish. Needless to say, this statement played into Ukraine’s hands.

Essentially, the Russian minister with a horse face thus effectively “pressed” on Israel – until recently, Israel did not plan to supply arms to Ukraine, whereas now the government of this country has decided to increase humanitarian and military aid.

As for the “Jewish armored vehicle,” Russian media dubbed LuAZ so because “its distinguishing feature is its cheapness and simplicity of design.”
