As a result of the war in Ukraine, over 200 thousand vehicles have already been destroyed, and dozens of cars were hijacked to Russia and Belarus. Among the missing cars are real collectible rarities.
For instance, a 1981 Suzuki Samurai SUV was stolen in Gorenka. The miniature car had been converted into a coffee shop on wheels and participated in various festivals. Incidentally, another retro car owned by the same owner, the Barkas B1000, was burned.

The Russians also hijacked a brilliantly restored Willys MB in desert camouflage. This configuration is unique in Ukraine. Currently, there is no information about it.

Near Kharkiv, the entire retro car collection of Vladimir Loginov disappeared. Among them were the GAZ-12 ZIM, GAZ-13 and GAZ-14 Chaikas, as well as two GAZ-21 Volgas. All the cars have been restored to perfect condition.

However, there are pleasant moments too – some of the stolen cars have been found. In particular, a 1957 GAZ-69 belonging to collector Igor Pastukhov from Bucha was recovered. The SUV had been extensively restored and participated in various retro movement events.
