The Used Car Market in Ukraine Recovered After Quarantine

After the resumption of the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs service centers in Ukraine, there is a boom in the registration of used cars. In May, 30.6 thousand were registered – 28% more than in the same period last year.

According to the Ukravtoprom association, this is 5.2 times more than new cars. After all, used cars started to be registered only from May 12. In total, since the beginning of the year, 110.2 thousand used cars have undergone their first registration in Ukraine.
The vast majority of second-hand cars (64%) are gasoline-powered. Diesel engines equip 21% of cars, while 10% have an LPG system.

Another 5% are electric vehicles and hybrids.
