Arnie arrived on the tank to visit his friend (and fellow car enthusiast) Jay Leno on the Make it! TV show. The actor explained that this particular M47 is the one he drove in his youth while serving in the Austrian army. Later, Schwarzenegger tracked down the decommissioned fighting machine and acquired it for his collection.
It should be noted that Arnie hasn’t forgotten his army skills, and in the video, he easily maneuvers the 50-ton behemoth. He then impressively deals with a Lincoln Town Car that blocked the road.
