by From April 9 to June 30, 236,792 cars were cleared through customs for free in Ukraine. Their owners saved a total of 26.1 billion hryvnias on customs payments. This was reported by Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
If 33.5 thousand cars were imported in April, then in May there were 98 thousand, and in June there were 105.3 thousand. In the last days of the zero customs clearance period, queues of 30-40 km formed at the border, and 7,500 cars were processed daily.
Now customs duties will have to be paid according to pre-war rates. However, there are promises to introduce online processing through “Diia” with a new complex payment calculation formula in the future.
