The Skoda Kodiaq crossover has undergone a scheduled facelift and received a new RS version. Moreover, this update was not limited to a design change alone.

As known, earlier the Skoda Kodiaq RS was equipped with a 2.0-liter 240-horsepower biturbo diesel, but now this engine does not meet eco-standards. So now the crossover is equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo four from the Octavia RS.

The new engine is slightly more powerful (245 hp), but has less torque – 370 Nm compared to 500 Nm. Also, the new Skoda Kodiaq RS is lighter, so it should be faster – acceleration to a hundred takes less than 7 seconds.
All Skoda Kodiaq 2021 models received a new radiator grille and modified diode headlights, with the RS featuring matrix lights. The charged version is also recognizable by its body kit and 20-inch wheels.

The interior of the Skoda Kodiaq RS is equipped with leather sports seats with red stitching and a new steering wheel with a flattened bottom rim. It also features a virtual cockpit and an enlarged 9.2-inch touchscreen.
