by Since the enactment of Yuzhanina laws in Ukraine, more than a thousand cars with Europlates have already been cleared. Such statistics are provided by the State Fiscal Service. 
Interestingly, the thousandth car was cleared at the same place as the first one – at the Chernivtsi customs. It was a seven-seater crossover Nissan Qashqai +2 2011 with a cost of 194.6 thousand hryvnias. Customs payments amounted to 87.9 thousand hryvnias, including a fine of 8500 hryvnias.
The Chernivtsi customs leads in the number of cleared cars with Europlates – 438. The second place is taken by the Volyn customs (260 cars). In total, cars with foreign registration have been processed by 19 different customs. In total, from November 26 to December 10, 65.8 million hryvnias have already been received into the budget from the clearance of ‘Europlak’ cars. By the way, 824 car owners were forced to pay a fine of 8500 hryvnias for violating customs regulations.
