Hypercars like the Bugatti Chiron not only cost a fortune, but are also expensive to operate. The maintenance sums are astronomical and the cost of individual services is comparable to the price of a mid-range car.

The owner of a Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport from Singapore, Muhammad Al Kawi Zamani, shared the costs of maintaining the car. Even a simple oil change with filters costs $25,000 (like a new Skoda Octavia) every 16,000 km of mileage.

Front brake discs with pads (ceramic, of course) cost $58,952 a pair – like a new Toyota Prado. You need to pay the same amount for brake fluid replacement and brake system cleaning.
Bugatti’s wheels also need to be replaced every 14-16 months. The cost of a set is $49,958. And new tires will cost $8,000.

Every four years, the turbochargers need to be replaced. There are four of them, and they cost $25,978. The cooling system radiators cost $21,982 and turbine adjustments cost $28,576. Around the same time, the fuel tank also needs replacement ($43,963).
In total, maintaining a Bugatti Chiron will cost $385,000 over four years. For that money, you could buy a Lamborghini Aventador.
