Dacia Sandero Update: What to Expect from the New Version
The Dacia Sandero continues to be one of the most popular cars in Europe. In 2024, this model even surpassed the Renault Clio in sales volume. Despite the Sandero debuting in 2020 and already receiving an update in 2022, the manufacturer is preparing another restyling that will bring it closer to the brand’s modern SUVs.
Dacia, which was previously associated exclusively with budget solutions, is gradually changing its image. New models, such as the Duster and Bigster, showcase a more expressive design, making them attractive not only due to their low price. The updated Sandero, which is set to appear in 2026, will inherit these trends.
Exterior and Interior
Among the main changes are updated optics with LED daytime running lights, new radiator grilles, and bumpers. The rear will also receive fresh design elements. Although the changes will not be revolutionary, they will add modernity to the model.
The interior may get a larger touchscreen, however, base versions will likely remain without it to maintain an affordable price. Currently, the starting price of the Sandero in the UK is around £14,715.
In addition to the Sandero, the Jogger model will also receive an update. Some sources report the possibility of a hybrid version appearing, although the brand’s main focus remains on preparing a completely new generation of Sandero with an electric version, which will debut in 2027.
The Dacia Sandero remains a key model for the European market, combining affordability and practicality. Even minor updates allow it to compete with more expensive counterparts, and the future redesign and potential technological innovations will only strengthen its position.
