by At 11:30, the online presentation of the Renault Arkana crossover, which will be produced in Ukraine at the Zaporizhia Automobile Plant, began. “Renault Ukraine” company released the specifications, configurations, and cost of the new model, which has every chance to become another bestseller for the French brand. 
Renault Arkana started sales in Ukraine
Let us remind you that Renault consistently has high sales in Ukraine for models such as the Duster and Logan – these cars have been among the top-selling vehicles in our country for a long time. As for Renault Arkana, it uses the updated platform from the Duster but looks like a “French BMW X6,” meaning it appears much more expensive than its worth. And the price of Arkana starts at 467,900 UAH.
Renault Arkana Prices and Configurations
For now, Renault Arkana can be purchased in Ukraine with one of two engines and in four equipment variants. The car in the basic Life configuration is equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 114 hp, a 5-speed manual transmission, and front-wheel drive. The same version with a CVT will cost 506,300 UAH. Features include LED headlights, electric windows, air conditioning, a radio, ESP, and 6 airbags. The most interesting version with a 1.3-liter turbo engine with 150 hp available with all-wheel drive and a CVT starts at 709,300 UAH.
Such a Renault Arkana crossover accelerates to 100 km/h in 10.5 seconds and reaches 191 km/h. 
In the top Intense+ version (from 765,700 UAH), the interior is trimmed with artificial leather, there is a keyless access system, climate control, cruise control, 17-inch alloy wheels, interior LED lighting, heated steering wheel, front, and rear seats, parking sensors, rain and light sensors, 360-degree cameras, a Bose audio system, “blind” spot monitoring.

The interior has quite a few details familiar from the Duster. More expensive versions feature an 8-inch touchscreen. The second row has quite a lot of legroom.
The trunk capacity is 409 L.
Renault Arkana Off-road
The platform from the Duster implies good off-road capabilities. The ground clearance of Renault Arkana is 205 mm, the approach angle is 21 degrees, and the departure angle is 26 degrees. Notably, the 4X4 versions have a multi-link rear suspension. However, all Arkanas have drum brakes at the rear, which is not a bad thing as it reduces maintenance costs.
