The first Vietnamese automaker VinFast is entering the international market. The company announced its intention to sell its cars in Europe and America starting from 2022. It is very likely that they will also appear in Ukraine.
The fact is, the founder of VinFast, Pham Nhat Vuong, surprisingly began his path to success in Ukraine. He is the creator of the popular instant noodles ‘Mivina’. He even has a Ukrainian Order of Merit.

However, the Vietnamese businessman sold his Ukrainian business long ago, and with the proceeds, he founded the company VinFast in his homeland. It even produces crossovers on the BMW X5 platform with a V8 from a Corvette.
However, VinFast is now focusing on electric crossovers. These are the ones they plan to export, as models with a V8 are unlikely to be in demand, and one should not forget about eco-standards. In 2022, they plan to produce 56,000 electric cars.

Two models will be brought to the global market – both all-wheel-drive and with two motors producing 408 hp. The five-seat 4.75-meter VinFast VF32 is equipped with a 90 kWh battery and can travel 504 km without recharging.

The flagship seven-seat VinFast VF33 reaches 5.12 m in length and is equipped with a 106 kWh battery, giving it a longer range – 550 km. The electric cars’ equipment includes a 15.4-inch touchscreen, steering wheel heating, matrix headlights, and seat ventilation.
