Strange “convoy of scouts” spotted in Kyiv (photo)

A subscriber of the Telegram channel TopGir photographed an unusual convoy of SUVs. On the streets of Kyiv, he captured a new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 accompanied by a Lexus LX570. It seems like a familiar scene for the capital, but the intrigue lies in the license plates.

As seen, both vehicles have personalized plates with the abbreviation GUR. Compared to standard state plates, they stand out with a trident and a waving flag.

Theoretically, of course, personalized number plates can come in various designs, but the essence is in the abbreviation itself. The most obvious and at the same time surprising would be the Main Intelligence Directorate. If that is the case, then “Stierlitz has never been so close to failure”…

But there are other options:

  • GUR – power steering (in this case – nonsense)
  • GUR – first letters of Guramma Restaurant (a capital establishment on the Dnipro descent)

That’s all, we did not find other options. Conclusion: either intelligence or the restaurant owner. We hope for the latter.
