The Tesla Cybertruck pickup has become the basis for an unusual project – it has been converted into an autonomous house on wheels capable of overcoming off-road terrain. The transformation was carried out by the Turkish company Hotomobil, which specializes in creating campers. The cost of such a transformation is $66,000, as reported by Autoevolution.

A special fiberglass living module was installed on the electric pickup’s cargo platform. Its mass is 417 kg, which does not overload the vehicle too much.

The interior includes everything necessary for comfortable living: a double bed, a table, a TV, and several storage cabinets. There is also a small kitchen with a sink, refrigerator, and microwave oven. The floor is finished with wood and styled to resemble a yacht deck.

The module has 20-millimeter thermal insulation, so it can be used in the cold season as well. An installed heater and air conditioner ensure a comfortable temperature under any conditions.

The technical specifications of the camper based on the Tesla Cybertruck have not been disclosed yet. It is only known that the electric vehicle’s range will decrease – due to the additional weight and worsened aerodynamics, it will be less than that of the standard version, which can travel up to 563 km without recharging.
