Honda HR-V is the most affordable and the most compact crossover of the Japanese brand on the Ukrainian market. But TopZhyr tested the Sport version – the top and the fastest in the model lineup, which not only looks impressive, but despite its ‘charged’ nature, is suitable for daily driving on our roads.
The main difference of the Honda HR-V Sport hides under the hood: while the base model is equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with 130 hp, here there’s a turbocharger and at one’s disposal already 182 hp. Also, the torque is greater – 220 Nm at 1700-5500 rpm. Naturally, such a Honda crossover is livelier – it accelerates to a hundred in 8.6 seconds and reaches 200 km/h.
Moreover, the crossover’s suspension and steering have been retuned, and larger brakes have been installed. Visually, the Honda HR-V Sport stands out due to the black body kit and tinted optics.
The interior features red-black fabric and leather trim. Furthermore, since this is the top version, the equipment is richer than in a standard Honda HR-V 2021 – there are LED headlights, remote engine start, inflatable curtains, a more powerful sound system, and an automatic braking system.
