Toyota introduces the new electric model bZ Woodland
The name bZ Woodland may seem confusing, but it is actually a distinct model, though related to the bZ4X. It combines the traits of a crossover and a station wagon, making it a unique offering from Toyota.
Design and technical features
Externally, the bZ Woodland resembles the standard bZ but has larger dimensions, plastic body cladding, and additional off-road elements. The interior is equipped with a digital instrument panel, a 14-inch multimedia screen, and a spacious cargo compartment.
The base trim includes heated seats, wireless smartphone charging, and the Toyota Safety Sense system. A premium package is also available, featuring a panoramic roof, ventilated seats, and an upgraded audio system.
Specifications and availability
The model is built on the e-TNGA platform and features dual electric motors. It supports fast charging via the NACS connector, though the range is limited to 260 miles. Production is scheduled to begin in early 2026, and the price is expected to be higher than the standard bZ4X.
Despite the limited range, the bZ Woodland offers an interesting balance between everyday practicality and light off-road capabilities. It could be a great option for those seeking an electric vehicle with versatile features.
