Top Gear tested the off-road bus created by Ukrainians (video)

The hero of the new episode of the Top Gear show was the Torsus Praetorian. The extreme off-road bus impressed the British.

The host Tom Ford called the Torsus Praetorian a school bus on steroids and decided to storm the Italian volcano Etna with it. In fact, the bus works there – it transports tourists. Other Praetorians are currently transporting humanitarian cargo in Ukraine.

Top Gear reported that the Torsus Praetorian was created by the Ukrainian company Pulsar Expo for transporting people to the most inaccessible places. Its cabin is designed for 34 passengers and is equipped with air conditioning and USB ports. It is based on a MAN all-wheel-drive chassis.

Tom Ford appreciated the powerful 6.9-liter diesel engine with 290 hp and a torque of 1150 Nm, as well as the transmission with a low range and differential locks. It takes some getting used to in terms of handling, but off-road, the Torsus Praetorian performs miracles.
