The 2022 Toyota Sequoia has changed beyond recognition but has retained its brutality and monumentality. As before, the new Sequoia is a giant SUV that can be considered the “Boeing” in the world of cars.

Again, as before, Toyota Motor has built the next generation of the Sequoia on a frame, and therefore, despite technological innovations, the novelty remains a full-fledged and “honest” SUV. By the way, the current generation of Toyota Sequoia was produced for 15 years without significant changes (except for a facelift), and the most famous enthusiast and admirer of this model can be considered the Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, who owns several such SUVs, including armored ones.

As for the 2022 Sequoia, it has a platform from the Toyota Tundra, with a ladder frame with welded box-section side members stamped from high-strength steel. The chassis – Toyota F1 (TNGA-F) – is the same as that on the Land Cruiser 300 SUV. In simpler terms, the new Tundra/Sequoia shares components with the LC300, but they cannot be considered identical.

Engine: A 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 complemented by an electric motor. The total hybrid powertrain output is 443 hp (torque – 790 Nm). Transmission – 10-speed automatic. Drive, as before, is rear or all-wheel. Is there a purely gasoline modification? Only for the Tundra.
The new Toyota Sequoia 2022 also retained the third row of seats, and now it can be adjusted longitudinally by 152 mm.
