New Tuning from Stradale Modena

When you hear the name Stradale Modena, your attention probably turns to the loud Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale from the early 2000s. That’s quite understandable, but this Stradale Modena has no connection to the brand from Maranello.

Instead, it is an Italian company that creates tuning kits for the Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator, infusing them with a spirit similar to the Brabus approach, into the most famous American off-roaders.

The Company’s Model Range

The company’s product line includes the GTX for the Wrangler and the Xtrema for the Gladiator. Both models receive custom body kits and updated interiors.

What Inspired the Design?

At the front, the bumper is positioned lower and has larger air intakes, while the wide fenders, LED roof lights, rear spoiler, and a sportier bumper with a diffuser and four exhaust pipes complete the exterior look. It’s a familiar visual formula, but it works wonderfully on the boxy Jeeps.

The shape of the air intakes and ventilation holes clearly reflects the characteristic stylistic features of Brabus. This similarity becomes even more pronounced thanks to the custom radiator grille with a round emblem and an optional hood scoop. Buyers can choose the finish for these elements in piano black or carbon fiber.

Suspension and Wheels

Both the Wrangler and the Gladiator are fitted with custom alloy wheels, wrapped in robust 35-inch tires, although buyers can upgrade to 37-inch tires if they prefer a higher stance. Stradale Modena also installs a reinforced suspension and a custom exhaust system, matching the aggressive look.

What Powers Them?

The powertrain lineup starts with two familiar Jeep options: the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine for the Wrangler and the naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6, available for both models.

However, those craving more power can opt for a V8 upgrade, choosing between the 6.4-liter Hemi 392 or the 6.2-liter Hemi Hellcat. The latter provides a significant performance leap, delivering 707 horsepower, which should make these Jeeps much more agile, although it’s a double-edged sword.

Updated Interior

The interior has been revamped using leather and Alcantara, accentuated with contrast stitching and carbon fiber trim. Buyers can also specify an updated infotainment system, a premium audio system, and a range of driver assistance features.

How Much Do They Cost?

As always, exclusivity comes at a price. The Wrangler based on the GTX starts from 97,000 euros, while the Gladiator based on the Xtrema starts from 100,000 euros.

These figures quickly rise when V8 options come into play: the Hemi 392 adds 34,500 euros, and the supercharged Hellcat adds a significant 78,800 euros. If you choose all available options, you’ll get an off-roader costing 292,680 euros and a pickup for 294,480 euros respectively.

This places these Jeeps in a serious luxury category, although they are still cheaper than a tuned Brabus G-Class.

Production Geography

For those interested, Stradale Modena is based in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, although the company also collaborates with partners in the Middle East and West Africa who can handle orders locally.
