by Carlex Design presents the Vintage G-Wagen series, which offers a combination of fiery colors and individual luxurious design. Each version of this truck receives an individual leather interior, the colors of which correspond to the exterior design. Standing out among the huge assortment of modified G-Classes is difficult, but with the new Vintage line, the G has managed to do just that. A few weeks after showcasing its unforgettable pink creation called Rose, Carlex introduced several more new models from the same Vintage family. The brightest of all is the ‘Fiamma’.
Named after the Italian word for flame, it features a bright orange exterior shade inspired by the Mediterranean and Sicilian oranges. The upper half of the body is finished in pure white, while vintage chrome bumpers, mirrors, and wheels add an adequate retro line to the image. Those who appreciate the Vintage retro style but want something a bit more subdued can look at the All Black variant for inspiration. Completely black, it gets rid of the chrome accents usually found on other Vintage Gs from Carlex but still receives a completely new upholstered interior with luxurious new leather, the shades of which match the exterior. We were particularly impressed by the Rubino.
Its exterior is dominated by a deep shade of red, inspired by the ruby, while the upper part is painted black. Then come black chrome and red discs and wheels, and a pair of black bumpers complete the look. The interior looks worthy, has the appropriate Maybach branding, and is complemented by matching dark red and black leather. The interiors include a specially crafted wooden floor at the rear. Wooden details also continue along the backrests of the rear seats.
Another one of the Vintage Gs from Carlex is the Sabbia. It features a characteristic warm white exterior design with a few chrome accents. This theme continues in the interior with a matching cream leather color and some light brown wood markings. Completing the set is ‘Fern’. This is a deep green shade with white and chrome accents.
The interior of this model may be the most noticeable of all, with a deep shade of brown leather covering most of the interior surfaces. Contrasting the brown are bright orange accents.
