On May 3–4, the Old Car Land technical festival will take place at the “Wheels of History” museum in Kyiv. This is the largest Ukrainian event dedicated to historic vehicles, featuring hundreds of cars, motorcycles, trucks, buses, and specialized machines.

This year, the organizers have prepared several new exhibitions. The central theme of the festival is cars from the 1970s. Visitors will be able to see iconic models that became symbols of the era: the Citroën CX with hydropneumatic suspension, the BMW 1502, which influenced the brand’s design for decades, and the Mercedes-Benz W116—the first in the S-class series. All of these are part of the large thematic exhibition “Cars of the 70s.”

A separate exhibition is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Kyiv Motorcycle Plant. It will include rare motorcycles, such as escort models used for official visits, the first serial KMZ bikes, and experimental prototypes.
There will also be a large display of military and civilian vehicles from the World War II era. It will feature armored vehicles, half-track tractors, as well as unique American and German transport machines.

Other activities include an exhibition of classic trucks and buses, a presentation of a new Ukrainian-developed supercar, a retro gaming championship, and the largest collection of toy and pedal cars in Ukraine.
