In Germany, a LuAZ-967 M from 1987 has been put up for sale. The Ukrainian off-roader is being sold for 16,000 euros. This is reported by Focus.

The high price is primarily due to the rarity of the vehicle. It is not easy to find a military LuAZ-967 M in Europe. Obviously, this particular off-roader remained in Germany after the withdrawal of Soviet troops.
Moreover, the LuAZ-967 M is in excellent condition, and its mileage is only 34,000 km in 37 years. Recently, the vehicle was updated – its hood, seats, wheel disks, and timing belt were replaced. It comes with stretchers for transporting wounded individuals.

Let us remind you that the LuAZ-967 M or TPK (frontline transporter) is a military version of the Ukrainian off-roader. It is rarer than the standard “Volyn,” as only 7,940 of these vehicles were produced in 1975-1989.
Among the features of the LuAZ TPK is the driver’s seat being in the center of the cabin, as stretchers are installed on the sides. The vehicle’s body floor is sealed since it is an amphibian.
The LuAZ-967 M is equipped with a 0.9-liter 40-horsepower engine and four-wheel drive. It can reach speeds of 75 km/h on land and 3 km/h on water.
