Ukrainian electric cars for $6500 began testing in Kyiv

In Kyiv, the Ukrainian-made Konyk electric car has started testing. Two such cars are being tested in the delivery service of the Silpo supermarket chain.

Ukrainian Konyk electric vehicles are considered as an alternative to scooters and bicycles for winter, reports Focus. They are cheap to operate but safer in rain or snow: after all, four wheels are not two. Moreover, the driver and his cargo are protected from bad weather.

The miniature Konyk electric car, priced from 6500 dollars, is built at the Ukrainian enterprise “Electropride” from Chinese components. While the car is in the process of refinement, its design is constantly being improved.

The miniature 2.3-meter Konyk can carry up to 250 kg. It accelerates to 60 km/h, and its range is 100 km. For an additional fee, a larger battery can be installed to increase the range to 150-200 km. Charging from a home network takes 6-12 hours, and from a fast station – 1-2.5 hours.

By the way, a more advanced Ukrainian electric car for delivery services with a range of 300 km has already been created. It has even attracted interest in America.
