Moreover, it’s not just about fake car numbers, but so-called cover numbers. In fact, the law allows them to be issued only to law enforcement agencies, as well as state security and the individuals they protect.
That is, fake car numbers can be held by the president, speaker and deputy speakers of parliament, prime minister and first deputy prime minister, heads of the Supreme and Constitutional Courts, the minister of foreign affairs, and the attorney general.
In special cases where there is a real life threat, state security and special numbers may be provided to the people’s deputies, ministers, and judges. In reality, cover numbers are on the Mercedes S-Class of the Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak and BMW X5 of his deputy Kyryl Tymoshenko, as well as the Audi A8 of the President’s advisor Serhiy Shefir.
According to Bihus.info, similar license plates were issued to Arsen Avakov and, for some reason, his son, as well as the deputy from “Servant of the People” Andriy Klochko. Meanwhile, Ilya Kiva from OPZZH constantly changes the plates on his Toyota Land Cruiser.
