Ukrainians to Hold an Auction of Rare Cars to Raise Funds for the Production of Buggies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Volunteers from the Lviv region are preparing to auction off rare MPM PS160 cars. The money raised will go to an interesting project for the Ukrainian military buggy named Mamai.

Recall that the French MPM Motors PS160 is a small-series four-door coupe, previously known as Tagaz Aquila. The auction plans to sell several of these cars – blue, yellow, burgundy, white, and green.

It turns out that a Lviv company once made bodies for MPM Motors. Therefore, it is not surprising that they have several such cars. Moreover, provided that funds are raised, Ukrainian craftsmen are ready to produce 200 buggies per month.

Mamai is a four-seater off-roader with a very simple construction. It can be equipped with mounts for a machine gun or Javelin anti-tank missile system, or stretchers can be installed for transporting the wounded.

The buggy has a ground clearance of 400 mm, and the suspension travel is 320 mm. The bottom of the car is covered with protective plates.

Mamai is equipped with disc brakes on all wheels and a hydraulic handbrake, allowing it to turn literally in place. It is also possible to install a tent and a windshield made of ballistic plastic.
