After February 24, Ukrainian business faced challenges. However, some companies managed not only to stay afloat during the war, but also to adapt in a way to help the Ukrainian army. And not only (and not so much) with money, but with their inventions, which help on the “front line” and even surpass global competitors in terms of technical parameters and price/functionality ratio.

One of these companies is the domestic “SCAT Power Batteries”, which until recently offered a modification of traction batteries to increase the range of electric vehicles.

Without going into details, it is enough to know that Ukrainians have realized the dream of many electric vehicle owners – to travel from Kyiv to Lviv without recharging (!). In principle, given the cost of fuel, this has become especially relevant now, but at the moment the company’s special attention is focused on a slightly different direction of activity, namely, on the production of ultra-powerful multifunctional power banks for the military and beyond.
Uniqueness of ‘SCAT’ Military Power Banks
SCAT Power Bank is developed especially for the military, with an optimal ratio of weight to power and functionality. The case is made of stainless steel and is protected from moisture. This allows the power bank to be transported in extreme conditions without fear of damage.

The most affordable and widespread is the SCAT-460.

The SCAT-460 power bank is built on high-quality Li-NMC batteries and has an 880 Wh capacity (240,000 mAh at 3.7V) in its base version, which allows:
- to charge regular phones up to 120 times;
- to recharge powerful batteries of modern quadcopters 15-20 times;
- to operate with the STARLINK internet terminal for up to 10 hours;
- or do all of the above simultaneously.
It should be noted that the tactical SCAT-460 power bank went through a complex path from prototype to serial model, considering and eliminating shortcomings in real military conditions.
