The fact is that a real steam engine has replaced the 3.6-liter V6. Interestingly, Hauk Designs, the studio that performed such an unusual tuning of the Jeep Wrangler, took it from a museum.
Moreover, the steam engine works with a 6-speed manual transmission. With it, the Jeep Wrangler accelerates to 56 km/h. Wood or coal is suitable as fuel. However, it requires more than 200 liters of water for a 2.5 km journey, so it is more of a show car. 
The design of the Jeep Wrangler matches the engine.
It is done in a steampunk style – with an abundance of rivets and pipes, and even a real steam whistle. The interior features levers and valves like in a locomotive cab.
