Unique 42-Year-Old Porsche 935 Kremer K3 Le Mans Listed for Sale in Germany (Photo)

A rare Porsche 935 Kremer K3 Le Mans from 1984, built as a single road-going example, has been listed for sale in Germany. The car was commissioned by former Formula 1 team owner Walter Wolf, based on the legendary racing Porsche 935 K3 that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1979. Mechatronik reports.

The car is equipped with a 3.2-liter six-cylinder opposed engine with two KKK turbochargers. The power output of the powertrain is 740 hp, and torque is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 4-speed manual gearbox.

The top speed of the Porsche 935 Kremer K3 Le Mans reaches 338 km/h. The car’s weight is just 1175 kg.

The road-going version retains an almost unchanged body from the racing Porsche 935 K3. The car features wide fenders, a massive rear wing, and large air intakes.

The body is painted in Midnight Blue with red and gold accents. The car also bears Walter Wolf’s personal emblem.

The interior features leather upholstery, an audio system, and power windows. At the same time, the chassis design, aerodynamics, and engine almost completely replicate the racing version of the model.

The car’s mileage is 10,250 km.

Unique Porsche Kremer K3 Undergoes Restoration Worth 150 Thousand Euros

In 2024, the car was sent to Kremer Racing for a full technical restoration. The cost of the work was 150 thousand euros, equivalent to approximately 7.2 million UAH or 173 thousand dollars.

According to the seller, special attention was paid to preserving the car’s original condition during the restoration.

After the work was completed, the Porsche underwent a three-day test drive through the Dolomite Alps to Lake Como in Italy, where it was shown to the public for the first time in ten years at the Fuori Concorso event.

The seller does not disclose the car’s price.
