Unique Bentley station wagon of the Sultan of Brunei with a yellow-blue interior put up for auction

In Britain, a true pearl of the Sultan of Brunei’s collection is for sale – a 1992 Bentley Val D’Isere. This all-terrain station wagon is one of only 11 examples of the Bentley station wagon ever created, and all of them once ended up in the garage of the world’s richest car enthusiast, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah.

The Val D’Isere can safely be called the ancestor of the modern Bentayga. The vehicle with increased ground clearance was created by Robert Jankel Design atelier on the basis of the Bentley Turbo R, specifically for the Sultan. This particular example is the last in the series, and it was used by the Sultan’s brother.

The most interesting detail is that the interior is trimmed in blue-yellow leather and wood, so it looks no less exclusive than the car itself. Inside, there is climate control, cruise control, heated and power-adjustable seats, and a subwoofer box was installed in the trunk.

Under the hood is a 6.75-liter V8 twin-turbo engine producing 300 hp and a specially developed all-wheel drive system. The mileage of the unique station wagon is only 22 thousand kilometers, and it recently underwent a full service.

The expected price of the lot is from £105,000 to £135,000 (≈$143,000–184,000). By the way, we advise you to take a look at what the car collection of the Sultan of Brunei is like.
