One of the Ford Mustangs from the 2017 movie “Transformers: The Last Knight” is up for sale.
The modified car portrays the police vehicle Barricade from the Decepticons.
It features its own body kit, police insignia, and comes with special documentation.
In Hollywood, heroes often win, but let’s be honest, sometimes the villains are much more interesting. Barricade, one of the most memorable Decepticons from the “Transformers” franchise, is a prime example. The latest monster is based on the 2016 Ford Mustang GT, and a fully functional model with low mileage is currently for sale.
This particular Mustang appeared in the 2017 movie “Transformers: The Last Knight,” directed by Michael Bay. Although the film received the lowest ratings in the franchise and was considered a commercial failure (despite grossing $605.4 million worldwide), it’s hard to deny the appeal of this heavily modified sixth-generation Mustang now available from Curated.
To better battle the Autobots, the Mustang Barricade received a serious upgrade. The car is equipped with a unique body kit, a front protective bumper, flashing lights, and additional LEDs. Scratches on the bumpers, cables, and headlights give the impression that the car is ready to transform at any moment. And that’s just the beginning. Other visual changes include a vented hood, widened fenders, and a large rear wing.
Thanks to special treatment, Barricade looks even more aggressive than its predecessor. The police insignia includes Deep Impact Blue paint with white graphic elements, such as the phrases “Keep Calm and Hail Megatron” on the rear fenders and the signature “To Punish and Enslave.”
Don’t worry, Barricade still has enough muscle to back up its intimidating appearance. Under the hood, you’ll find a standard 5.0-liter V8 engine producing 435 hp (324 kW) paired with a six-speed manual transmission. With only 800 miles (1,287 km) on the odometer, it’s clear this Mustang wasn’t used much outside the set.
In addition to the car itself, the sale includes a set of memorabilia and official documents, some of which are signed by none other than Michael Bay.
Although Curated hasn’t provided an official price estimate, one document indicates a purchase price of $131,970. For context, in 2021, this Barricade was offered as part of Michael Bay’s collection.
