Recently, TopGir wrote about a rare Dodge Viper GTS, the only one in Ukraine and one of 1198 in the world! As it turned out, the iconic car seen on a tow truck was not damaged but partially disassembled for restoration and… export to America!

Simply put, this is a rare case when a car is being taken to America, not from America. According to the current owner of the Viper, the car is undergoing the final stage of preparation for sale (for this, the hood and other body parts were removed) and, unfortunately, with high probability, we will not see it on our roads in Ukraine anymore.

It should be noted that, today, there is a paradoxical situation where truly rare and exclusive old- and young-timers in Ukraine can be bought for less money than in the USA. The same applies to Europe, where some rare specimens can cost 5 and even 10 times more than in Ukraine.

Recall that the Dodge Viper coupe appeared in 1996 and received the name Viper GTS. A characteristic feature is the “double bubble” roof, raised above each seat to allow the use of helmets. The rear emblem with a snake head acts as an additional brake light.
Furthermore, the Viper GTS was chosen as the pace car for the “500 miles of Indianapolis” race in the late 90s, hence the so-called “safety stripes.”
Conclusion? There are two options – either pull from Ukraine what is truly valuable and can bring profit, or buy and keep for oneself in anticipation of an increase in value, which will be a certainty. But we’re not talking about that… we’re saving money.
