A 1000-Horsepower Racing KrAZ Restored in Ukraine

We have already told you about the racing KrAZ-5460, which even performed at the Nürburgring in the early 90s. Now the unique truck has been revived and will be showcased during the Ukrainian drag racing championship stage in Poltava. Photos of the KrAZ were published in the AutoBureau 1:43 page. It is evident that the vehicle has already been restored, and it will undoubtedly become the star of the show. Let us remind you that the KrAZ-5460 is equipped with a 5TDF tank turbo diesel engine with a power of 1000 hp. The racing truck reaches 180 km/h, and it accelerates to 100 km/h in 12 s. By the way, this beast sounds fantastic! At the Nürburgring, the KrAZ was driven by the Ukrainian road racing champion Alexander Medvedchenko. However, due to economic problems, the truck’s racing career was short-lived.
