by In Kyiv, a vintage 1935 Opel 2.0 Litre is up for sale. The 85-year-old convertible is priced at $55,000.
Opel 2.0 Litre or Opel 6, as the model was also known, was produced from 1934 to 1937, with a total of 52.5 thousand cars made. Most of them were two- and four-door sedans, but the convertible is quite a rare version.
The car looks good and, judging by appearances, was recently repainted and repaired. It was previously seen at the OldCar retro festival.
However, it should be noted that the car doesn’t entirely match the original. The owner stated that instead of the original 2.0-liter six-cylinder engine with 36 horsepower, a 1.6-liter engine is installed.
Moreover, the seats in the interior are clearly modern.
