In Poltava, the National Police stopped a driver in a fatal state of intoxication. The alcohol test showed a blood alcohol content of 5.5 ppm – this is a record indicator in the entire history of Ukraine.
To give you an idea, a dose of 5 ppm is already considered fatal. It is hard to imagine how the driver was even conscious, let alone capable of driving a car.
Let us remind you that the permitted blood alcohol limit is 0.2 ppm. Of course, each body is individual, but on average it corresponds to 40 grams of vodka. Accordingly, 5.5 ppm is more than a liter of vodka.
According to the protocol, the alcohol test was conducted on August 27, and it specifically refers to a blood test, not the use of a breathalyzer. Apparently, someone celebrated Independence Day very well.
