In Kyiv, a striking 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible was spotted. This is truly a legendary model, and such cars are very rare on our roads.
The third generation Chevrolet Corvette was introduced in 1968, and early series models are the most valued by collectors. The Kyiv convertible looks just excellent and has been remarkably preserved.
Under the Corvette’s hood is a 5.7-liter carbureted V8 – such an engine was offered in versions of 300 and 350 hp.
It is paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. By the way, at that time, the car could also be equipped with a seven-liter engine of 435 hp, allowing it to accelerate to 100 km/h in 5 seconds.
By the way, not long ago in Kyiv, another third-generation Chevrolet Corvette was seen, but a later model (1982) and in a coupe body. Photo: @ukraine_cars
