by In Brovary near Kyiv, a true rarity was spotted – a Maserati Spyder Biturbo. Against the backdrop of the private sector and in winter, the rare 80s car looks especially impressive.
It is quite possible that this is the only such Maserati convertible in Ukraine. Moreover, judging by the plates, it was imported to us a long time ago. Also, in our country, there is a Maserati Biturbo in a sedan body, and recently it was sold for the price of a Lanos.
The Maserati Biturbo Spyder was produced from 1984 to 1994. Specifically, this convertible belongs to the first series from 1984-1989. Only 1744 of these cars were produced and they were equipped with turbocharged V6 engines with a capacity of 2.0 liters (185 hp) and 2.5 liters (192 hp). Both versions accelerated to 100 km/h in about 6.5 seconds and reached 215-220 km/h.
As we can see, the rare car is running and even well preserved. The leather and wood interior finish is in good condition. The Maserati Spyder looks quite unremarkable and not everyone will understand that they are looking at a rarity.
