An impressive 1972 Cadillac DeVille was spotted in Odessa. Compared to modern cars, the massive coupe looks very pompous indeed.
The Cadillac DeVille is truly gigantic – 5776 mm in length and 2027 mm in width, with a wheelbase of 3302 mm. The vehicle weighs 2124 kg. In contrast, the rather large Skoda Superb appears very compact.

Interestingly, for its time, the Cadillac DeVille was high-tech, as it was equipped with air conditioning, cruise control, and power seats, and even offered ABS as an option.
Under the long hood of the 1972 Cadillac DeVille is a 7.7-liter V8 engine with a power output of 345 hp. With a 3-speed automatic transmission, the coupe can accelerate to about 200 km/h.
Of course, the car is rare, but there is another DeVille of the same era in Odessa, this one being a sedan. Also, a 1959 Cadillac DeVille, like the one Elvis had, was recently for sale in Ukraine.
