Such a Chevrolet sports car was spotted in Kyiv. The low streamlined coupe with pop-up headlights immediately draws attention. Even the new Range Rover in the background fades away.
The final version of the Chevrolet Corvette C3, produced from 1980 to 1982, was captured in the capital. This car was equipped with a 5.7-liter V8 engine producing 190-230 hp. Of course, the earlier Corvette C3s were much more powerful (reaching up to 500 hp), but in the 70s new eco-standards “stifled” American engines.
Although the early 80s Chevrolet Corvette, as a rule, were well-equipped, with leather interiors, central locking, cruise control, and power seats. As with the modern model, the roof panels are removable here.
